This screenshot not only confirms that the wpmudev plugin is buggy because the staff member is saying “I can confirm the bug”, but it also confirms more about the nightmare I went through while waiting for support because the plugin developer “no longer works for wpmudev”.

Well, that’s a great sign… minus the great sign part, of course!

This company can’t even retain developers, much less customers, as we all become aware of how they run this revolutionary scam to get us to pay them to roll out new ideas while we also pay to be their bug testers!

No joke, that’s the scam.  And it works, because I went through it for several months, and now I’m writing reviews for wpmudev so others can hopefully find this first.

This is definitely more proof that of wpmudev plugins are buggy…

so, I hope you’re wise and pay attention to these reviews.

Again, I hope I prevent anyone from going through what I went through with wpmu dev plugins and themes.

Take a look at this screenshot.  Another wpmu dev staff member confirming the bug by saying “I’m flagging the developer with a confirmed bug report”.  

If this isn’t enough proof, I don’t know what else is.

However, I do have more to show you about wpmu dev and why they get bad reviews.  In short, they are a scam of a company, and I’m going to prove that to you in my blog here.

Proof of WPMU DEV Buggy Plugins

Want PROOF that wpmu dev plugins are buggy?

You’re about to see some screenshots demonstrating that wpmu-dev plugins are buggy, and their support is flakey.  Remember their Guarantee about having working plugins and great support.  Well, you’re about to see PROOF how two months goes by and I still don’t have resolve!

Look at my red print on these screenshots very carefully.  You’ll notice that the staff member named PC is telling me that he cannot get the feature to work either.  This alone is a confirmation that their plugins are buggy!

This is exactly why wpmu-dev gets bad reviews for their buggy plugins.

Because they are full of false promises.  This devious activity without refunding customers is exactly why they are getting a reputation as a scam.  They are fraudulent because they don’t refund as they promise, and their plugins don’t work as advertised, and their support doesn’t communicate timely.

Notice the quote by the staff guy PC, he says “He should be there sooner than later.”

Oh wow!  Thanks!

And guess what, it was at least one month later, which you’ll see PROOF of that in this screenshot above, along with PROOF that the plugins are buggy!

Just look at the date stamps that I have drawn red lines to.  This is just one incident where I’ve been on standby for over a month.  If you’re wondering how I could be with a company like this for several months… it’s because I didn’t know better and was taken advantage of as they continued to deliver false promises and lies.

WPMU Dev now gets the worse reviews possible and I hope I help you realize this before you purchase even the cheapest offer they have, such as the current one for $10 to get you locked in.

WPMU DEV Reviews On Their False Guarantee

The wpmudev reviews I’m sharing today are in regards to their false guarantee.

I haven’t seen such a well crafted scam like this company, outside of a Hollywood movie!   No joke, this company  is in my opinion one of the greatest 21st century social scams I can imagine.  In fact, I couldn’t even imagine a scam like wpmudev.org pulls off, until I was ran through it myself for seven months.

If you haven’t read my last post about their charge backs and refunds policy, be sure to look at that too because it coincides with this false guarantee, and it supports why wpmu dev gets such bad reviews.

WPMU Dev guarantees that their plugins will work, and they promise “no more suffering with broken, poorly coded, free plugins” and “that’s the wpmudev money-back guarantee.”

Well here’s what’s so amazing about that… The word “FREE” in that sentence is how wpmudev is so fraudulent.  See, their plugins are not free, therefor when they make you suffer from your “paid” broken, poorly-coded plugins… well, they got you!  See it on the photo I included here.

It’s the “Guaranteed to work” part that really gets me about these wpmu dev reviews I’m sharing…

These plugins only work at a basic level, and then the great features that you paid for… they don’t work!  They’re really buggy, and you’ll spend thousands of dollars in your own time if you aren’t a programmer, coder, or wordpress expert who knows the lingo and when to run the other direction.

See, I thought this company was with wordpress when I first came across them, because they do talk about how paying for these plugins comes with a team of your own wordpress developers.  Which is a false promise all on it’s own.

And, I have an email documentation of where they scolded me for “downloading a bunch of their plugins”.  HA!  That’s what I paid for.  That’s what they sell.  I couldn’t believe it.   This company is a true scam.

WPMU Dev reviews will continue to be posted here because I have quite a few screenshots to share with you.  Next, I’ll be showing some more bad reviews about wpmudev from real customers.  I only wish this was available to me before I made the mistake of trusting them.

Well, I’ve experienced it first hand, that wpmudev does not do what they say they will do in regards to refunds and claims.

This shouldn’t be tolerated, and if you can save yourself now, do it!

Reviews for Buggy Plugins by WPMU DEV

As I promised, here’s more wpmu dev reviews about their buggy plugins and wrongful promises.

As you’ll quickly see by clicking on this photo, wpmu dev promises “no headaches or buggy plugins” and other false claims leading you to believe they are “like your own wordpress development team.”

I think wordpress.org/wordpress.com should sue wpmudev.org for using their trademark to profit from, and harming their trademark by performing poor service around it.  In fact, now that it is documented here, I’ll probably reach out to wordpress with this exact recommendation, because this is exactly why I became a member with wpmu dev.  I’m not a coder/developer/programmer, nor am I a wordpress expert, so I really needed this “like” wordpress development team, as they promised.  I’ve had a horrible wordpress experience and it is 100% directly caused by this company wpmudev.org.

Instead, it was absolutely a wrongful promise, and now I’m writing bad reviews on wpmudev plugins and themes.

I hope wpmu dev takes this as an opportunity to stop being so devious (click this photo for definitions of devious).

I asked for a refund since their plugins didn’t do what they say they do, in full, and they refused to give one to me, plus, they insulted me with more mumbo jumbo via email that just ran me around in circles longer and longer.

The more I blog and provide you with accurate reviews about wpmudev.org, the more I realize how badly this company needs to be stopped.  I’ve found more reviews out there from others who experienced exactly what I have.

Controversial WPMU DEV Reviews

What makes these wpmudev plugin reviews so controversial

is the fact that their website clearly states so many wrong promises, and I have clear proof of it, YET THEY STILL wouldn’t provide me a refund, much less apologize for dragging me through several months of hella nightmares!

But, why would they right?  I mean… if wpmu dev plugins are buggy and the support is slow and neglectful at absolute best! yet their website markets their service and plugins completely differently, then I guess they wouldn’t provide a refund, would they?

Scammers like wpmu dev don’t lie AND refund, and that’s why wpmu dev reviews are so bad!

That wouldn’t make sense as a scandalous plugin developer company!  No, so , wpmu dev plugin developer reviews won’t talk about how they actually do what they say they will…. the wpmu dev plugin reviews tell you about how THEY DON’T do what they say, such as fulfill their guarantee about refunds and plugins working properly.

Before I show you a screen shot of my own support requests and experiences, let’s take a look at these false claims where they not only wrongfully promise 24/7/365 support, but they lead you to believe they normally get to you in under an hour!  Just click on this photo screenshot from their website that I circled a few important highlights to back up these bad reviews about wpmudev plugins and themes.

I can tell you from several months of experience with wpmudev support and their plugins, that these claims are absolutely insulting, and my opinions leading up to these horrible wpmudev plugin reviews are spelled loud and clear as a direct result from my treatment.

If you google wpmu dev in search of more reviews, which I should have done a lot more of before I spent a single dollar or minute with them, you’ll find a common pattern in the fact that the reviews for wpmu dev show that they don’t hold up to their guarantee, nor their offers, nor their quality of plugins.

It’s like they come up with good ideas and start coding a plugin, then just stop before it is fully functional.  So, if you’re a programmer/developer/coder and you want to purchase some good ideas that you can hack away at for dozens of hours, you might find some plugins worth looking at.  I just don’t recommend it!

First WPMU DEV Reviews

The first review of wpmudev I’d like to share is

in their wrongful promises and claims “what you get with a wpmu dev membership”, which looks really really great on paper, but couldn’t be further from the truth.

And, the number one thing to remember while reading all of my wpmu dev reviews is that wpmudev plugins and themes seem to require additional coding or programming, which means you need to be a web developer because wpmu dev plugins have so many bugs… of which I am not a developer!  However, they’re marketing (wrong promises) their service as “like having your own wordpress development team”

That quote is taken directly from their webpage, and this wpmu dev review screenshot proves that.

Click on it to take a closer look at my reviews of wpmu dev and see for yourself.  In my opinion, this is completely a scam pitch and wordpress should step in and say something to them, because they are absolutely nothing “like” this., at all, MUCH LESS even a development team for their own plugins, because their plugins don’t work the way they are advertised.

This brings up my next review for wpmu dev plugins... They claim to be “amazing” as seen here on this wpmudev reviews screenshot, however, they don’t function the way they are advertised.

WPMU DEV mentions so many great features on their plugins, and those features are certainly great ideas, they just never got finished, so these wpmudev plugins are full of bugs and don’t function in full.  It was truly a nightmare, and I spent several months troubleshooting with wpmu dev plugin support, which is why they are now getting bad reviews.

Plus, they refuse to refund my money!  I mean… my time-spent is really what I would love to get back from wpmu dev support, however that’s impossible, and I went through hell and back trying to get them to refund my money.  THEY HAVE A GUARANTEE but they will not live up to this guarantee and they act like dragging you through months of pointless bug fixes that never fully get fixed is excusable as “them trying to help”.  Well, I purchased WORKABLE plugins, not non-working plugins!

I am so incredibly disappointed with wpmu dev plugins, and this is why they are making my list of bad reviews for the my first 12 months during this blog project called Wrong Promises Make Us – DEVIOUS (WPMU-DEV) where I will be delivering reviews on companies that make false promises and then don’t take accountability.

This blog starts my intro to WPMU DEV Plugin Reviews

As you know, wpmudev.org (also known as wpmu.org, wpmudev.com, premium.wpmudev.org,  wpmu.com) inspired me to start my own blog about how wrong promises make us devious in character.  Well, that inspiration for my blog  name is the only thing nice I have to say about wpmu dev, and it is based on my seven month nightmare experience with wpmudev, so unfortunately if you clicked on the wpmudev category here looking for good reviews about wpmu dev, you simply won’t find it!

With my reviews about wpmu dev,

I hope that nobody has to experience what I did.  I think you have to be a programmer/coder/developer in order to be a successful member of wpmu dev, however, they don’t market theirself like that.  They market their self as having working plugins, with guarantees, and awesome support.  Well, that’s not the case, and customization/tweaking/finishing is needed on all the plugins I used, which we will dive into during these wpmudev reviews.

Most of you reading this know that wpmu dev is a place to purchase plugins and themes for your wordpress website, however what many of you don’t know yet is that wpmudev is probably not what you’re expecting, even though their website looks great and makes all sorts of wonderful promises.  Maybe web developers and coders can take their basic functionality and customize it, but wpmudev wasn’t targeting web developers only… they’re targeting people like me who want simplicity when building a website by using plugins with wordpress.org.

Well, unfortunately you do have to be a programmer/coder/developer in order to get anywhere with their plugins because support sure won’t get back to you in a timely manner, nor will any “fixes” be actually fixed usually.  So, do yourself a favor and run far away from wpmudev.org and all the other names they are using out there for some scandalous reason (wpmu.org, wpmudev.com, premium.wpmudev.org,  wpmu.com).

I spent 7 months of nightmares (about 300-350 hours) dealing with wpmu dev because I was constantly being strung along by false promises and misleading communication that things were being done, and trying to figure things out myself.  Yes, 7 months is a long time, and you’d think I would get out a lot earlier, however, it happened so fast!  They hooked me in with false promises (which you will get to see in my posts over the next 12 months) and then they kept me on board paying them for a few months while they pretended to fix the bugs I was reporting.

See… I was trying to make a website on my own, and wordpress.org is the world’s go-to for making your own website, WPMU Dev is a developer of plugins and themes for the wordpress platform, along with many many others out there. WordPress.org has thousands of free plugins and themes, so why would I purchase plugins and themes from another company such as wpmudev??  For better-quality, more extensive functionality, of course!

I’m going to be posting will show you that their plugins and themes are not completely what they claim to be, and they certainly didn’t extend any more functionality that I expected to get, as advertised on their plugins.  Their basic functionality worked, but we can get free plugins all day with basic functionality.  I needed the functionality that they promised, and I spent 7 months troubleshooting with wpmudev before I simply couldn’t handle anymore loss of time.  After all, time is money (in a sense) and I spent far too much money by then.

These wpmudev reviews will also demonstrate their false promises, which gives wpmu dev poor reviews.

WPMU DEv is one developer company to stay far away from, and my reviews on wpmudev are dedicated to getting the word out about my experience because I wish for nobody to go through what I did.
